PIANIST: we urgently need a Pianist for the Windyhall Worship Team. The Team visits on the third Sunday of the month at 2.30pm. If you can help please contact Stuart on 261025 or stuartmckinlay@icloud.com
OASIS CAFÉ: Drop into the Struthers Room 10.30am – 12 for a cup of tea/coffee. The Team will be here every Thursday morning, with a warm welcome, cosy chat and friendly faces.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP meeting tomorrow 27th at 7.30pm, when we welcome Stuart McKinlay and Friends for a Burns celebration.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP – OKLAHOMA! – sing along! A night at the movies. A Fund raiser event on Monday 10 February at 7pm. Donation tickets £6 available after the Services from next week. Refreshments will be served at intermission.
BIBLE EXPLORATION GROUP meets this Wednesday 29 January at 7.30 in the Struthers Room, when we will be studying Jonah chapters 3 an 4. All welcome.
LIBRARY NEWS: A new addition – Greta Thunberg “No one is too small to make a difference” – full of thought provoking ideas.
THANK YOU: we have received a letter of thanks for the 20’s in the Pews donation of £1,141.60 to Alzheimer Scotland and from Whiteleys Retreat for the Christmas donation of £1060. Both letters can be read in full on the notice board in the Carrick Park vestibule.
MEN’S ASSOCIATION: Next meeting Monday 27th January, for our visit to Mc Callum’s Bagpipes, Kilmarnock. All those who have shown an interest meet at the Church at 9.20am when transport will be arranged. Looking forward to an interesting visit
SOUTH AYRSHIRE FOODBANK Please remember a few extra items for the Food Bank. Tinned main meals, tinned fish, UHT milk, tinned potatoes and tinned vegetables, jam and coffee are high on the list of requirements.
CONCERT: Alloway Church; Saturday 8th February at 7.30pm. An evening of Scottish songs; popular classical arias and choruses, a little Jazz and a bit of Gershwin! Tickets £15 incudes refreshments and cake – available at the Church door. All proceeds to be donated to Sarcoma UK in memory of Norma Duncan. Full details on the noticeboard.
